The Green Team strives to educate and inspire us as a congregation to be better stewards of God's creation by preserving our Earth and its resources. Using the trinity of reduce, reuse, and recycle as our guide, we aim to empower each of us with the tools to consider our role in conservation both within the walls of the church and as members of the society at large.

DRCC's Green Team has a almost obtained their goal of reaching the various levels of Green Action Steps set forth by the United Church of Christ. We reached Level 1 in 2014 and Level 2 in 2017. We are currently working towards Level 3 which is the highest (and most challenging) acheivement to reach.

The Green Team meeting dates are typically the 2nd Tuesdays in the even months at 6:30 pm or as listed in the bulletin. We are eager to hear your views. We welcome everyone to our meetings and encourage our Sunday School students (7th grade and older) to attend on their own or partner up with a parent to work with us. We always encourage new people to join our team and we welcome new ideas as well!
