DRCC's annual River Service is be held each year on a Sunday afternoon in late September at the Deep River Town Landing. This annual outdoor service is a celebration of our beautiful Connecticut River as we give thanks for its life-giving waters. There will be hymn singing and music led by Luther Moen, and a message for the day by Rev. Haut.  During the service we will include a special “blessing of the waters.” Anyone who would like to be baptized in the river or share in a re-newal of their baptismal vows is invited to do so. Come and enjoy the quiet peacefulness of our riverside, the joy of music, and the beauty of a September afternoon. Maybe we’ll have a chance to bless the steam train and riverboat, too!  We suggest bringing a blanket or lawn chair to sit on---bench space is very limited.
